Howard with all the bad contracts from Orl, how is that going to help your future?

NY will NOT match Lin.
Martin will have Bird rights so why would he be gone?
Please stop posting the unlikely as if it is fact.
DH would have Lin, Martin and 25 mil reasons to stay in Houston.
That's how it is a good start. I don't even like the Rockets and can see that.

I said NYK would most likely match, never said it was fact. Most thought they would match. It's more likely Howard would leave HOU than stay too, of course all this is IMO.
Howard situation is anyone's guess on how that will end.

Howard is easily the best Center in basketball. It isn't even close.
Bynum is a very good OC and in that 2nd or 3rd OC discussion.
I personally like Al Jefferson a little better. He is very efficient with the ball and turns it over very seldom.
Right now Bynum is the Lakers 2nd option. If he gos to the Cavs he'd be the 2nd option behind Kyrie Irving. Would moving to the cavs cure his woeful inconsistency? Not sure about that. I personally think he'd do best in Dallas with a coach like Carlisle but I am a Mavs homer.

recap:
Martin is gone after this season (Is he really now?)
NYK will match(will they?)
DH will leave(will he?)
Again, everything you posited was probably incorrect and you stated each of them as hardcore fact which.

I said Lin would most likely be matched by Ny, how is that fact?
The others came off that way, but were just my opinion.

Knicks to likely pass on Jeremy Lin after acquiring Raymond Felton
After the New York Knicks reached agreement Saturday on a sign-and-trade deal with the Portland Trail Blazers to acquire point guard Raymond Felton, Lin's future with the Knicks now appears uncertain at best. New York had been widely expected to match the three-year, $25 million offer sheet Lin signed with the Houston Rockets, but now already has three point guards under contract: veteran Jason Kidd, Felton and Argentine guard Pablo Prigioni. One league source said it's now "highly doubtful" the Knicks match Lin's offer sheet.
"He did not see this happening," Peter Diepenbrock, Lin's coach at Palo Alto High School, told Yahoo! Sports. "He sounded surprised."
The Knicks officially have until 11:59 p.m. ET Tuesday to match the Rockets' offer sheet. Sources close to the Rockets and Lin said Saturday night they had yet to be told of the Knicks' decision. But with Kidd recently signing a three-year, $9 million contract and Felton receiving a three-year, $10 million deal, the Knicks already have made a substantial investment at the point guard position

Am I the only person who can't stand Carmelo Anthony? He just rubs me the wrong way. His comment on Lin's contract annoys me.

Yeah he shouldn't be talking. He's getting paid like an elite level superstar and he's not. Dude has been out of the 1st round only one time in his career.

I certainly stated in the EASTERN Conference.
Surely, Bynum and Duncan do not play in the East. Noah is definitely not a true big.
Come on man.

Noah guards Howard and Bynum when the bulls play those teams, how is he not a true big man? And I know the point you wanted to make was that Howard's competition in the east is lesser than bynum's in the west, which, clearly, is false

No, my brother and I refer to him as Carmelo Iverson. He'll never win a title, and the Knicks will not win with him on the roster.

A source tells me Antawn Jamison will be a Laker.
|
Source: Rick Bonnell
Good addition. Lakers were deadlast in bench scoring. Jamison will definitely help with that.

Agree. Lakers bench couldn't score consistently at all, AJ can definitely help in that area.
