Default DMN: Dez Bryant and Jason Witten on how they’d feel about Cowboys adding T.O.

By Jon Machota / Special Contributor

Dez Bryant has played in celebrity basketball and baseball games with Terrell Owens this summer.

So, how about the two lining up together at wide receiver for the Cowboys this season? The Cowboys could use a veteran No. 3 wide receiver.

Bryant declined to give a detailed answer to that hypothetical question when asked about it Friday.

“From what I see, he’s a great guy,” Bryant said before adding, “I don’t really want to speak too much on that.”

The Cowboys tight end was teammates with Owens for three seasons in Dallas. But like Bryant, he didn’t have much to say about how he’d feel having Owens as a teammate again.

“It would be indifferent for me,” Witten said. “I think it would be hard for me to make a comment on it really. I’m just out of that situation and let those guys handle that.”

The team has already been down that road once and it wasn't what Jerry had hoped it'd be. Nowadays, Coach Garrett wants RKGs. Retrieving someone who bad-mouthed him repeatedly before leaving probably wouldn't strike him as someone who fits that mold especially well. That's an understatement.

I think Witten would have an ulcer if that were to ever happen. LOL

Not in this lifetime, buddy boy.

Because they are married to controversy instead of actual news. If we bring in controversy they are going to be the happiest human beings on the planet. The current Cowboys, from Head Coach on down to the players are the DFW media's worst nightmare.

Right Kinds of Guys.

They want dirty laundry. The dirtier the better. It doesn't get dirtier than TO.

Well said ! it has been a very quiet off season. I love that. Dallas media hacks ,on the most part, can not do their job without drama.that is sad and they should be writting for Star magazine or something and not sports.

I think Dallas media is worst in the business. I really do. again for the most part. There are a handfull of decent ones but more horrible than good.

Probably for the same reasons someone would post about the Cowboys going after WR Mike Williams . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The answer dez gave was spectacular.

His eyes aren't glazed over with admiration and he said something that was complimentary and yet non-committal.

Nice quote, Dez. Very good!
