Did you see the horrendous call with the "touchback" punt during the Bills/Skins game yesterday? Literally got downed on the 5 yard line, but the ref who was looking right at the ball being recovered called it a touchback. This wasn't one of those situations where it bounced and the players recovered it afterwards, he fell on it right away and it never got close to being in the end zone but they somehow called it a touchback lol. The Bills then had to challenge b/c they gave the Skins 15 free yards. They quickly overturned the call and moved it back to the 5.

It was embarrassing to watch. we need to bring the normal refs back asap.

yea I saw that. The ref who made that call should be fired and should not ref another nfl game this year. I mean how do you make that call?

Worst thing is that Gailey had to use a challenge to get it corrected! How did another ref not change that immediately?
