Top 10
Post your Top 10 players by position.
I have been building a cheat sheet for the draft and thought it might be cool to see where some fellow posters ranked players compared to each other.
My league is PPR and I have a tendency to downgrade guys with injuries or are on bad teams. That is why I have Andre Johnson and Fitzgerald rated so low. I also think Julio Jones is going to emerge as the 2nd best WR in the league by the end of the season.
QB
1. Rogers
2. Brady
3. Brees
4. Stafford
5. Newton
6. Rivers
7. Romo
8. Peyton
9. Ryan
10. Eli
RB
1. Foster
2. Rice
3. McCoy
4. Chris Johnson
5. MJD
6. Forte
7. Murray
8. Sproles
9. McFadden
10. Lynch
WR
1. Megatron
2. Brandon Marshall
3. Victor Cruz
4. Julio Jones
5. Wes Welker
6. AJ Green
7. Roddy White
8. Larry Fitzgerald
9. Jordy Nelson

I know, I just dont like taking guys in the 2nd round who miss games and are constantly listed as questionable. His upside is through the roof but I dont trust him, so I dont draft him.

He finished as the 11th best fantasy WR last year and still has no QB. Why draft him over a guy on a good team that will put up a lot of points?

His upside????? He is, and has been, one of the top 3 WR's in this league for years now. I wish I was in your league.

Top WRs in the NFL yes, top 3 WRs in fantasy football? He was 11th last season and 8th the season before. He is a solid top 10 WR in FF, but if I am looking for a guy on a team that is capable of putting up big numbers I prefer other guys.
I wish you were in my league as well, you can take him and leave me guys on better teams who will get a lot more red zone targets. I look forward to looking back after the season to see where it pans out.

I would move Rivers down and Romo up. Rivers sucked last year.
Gates is a year older and their Rb is hurt.

Been going back and forth on where to rank Rivers. He was pretty darn good at the end of last season when Gates and their offensive line started to get healthy.

I have my 12-team PPR draft this weekend. I also downgrade injured/prone players but players on bad teams can be gold. For example, Fitzgerald historically racks up fantasy stats in comeback/garbage-time. Same with Netwon last year. My rankings in PPR FANTASY (not reality), separated by tier:
QB
1. Rogers
2. Brady
3. Brees
4. Stafford
5. Newton
6. Romo
7. Ryan
8. Rivers
9. Peyton
10. Eli/Vick
RB
1. Foster
2. Rice
3. McCoy
4. Chris Johnson
5. Sproles
6. Forte
7. Murray
8. McFadden
9. Lynch
10. Matthews/MJD
WR
1. Megatron
2. Fitzgerald
3. Welker
4. Brandon Marshall
5. Julio Jones
6. Victor Cruz
7. AJ Green
8. Roddy White
9. Andre Johnson
10. Jordy Nelson
