Some hideous pattern, that I think it supposed to bear some vague abstract resemblance to a paw print. I don't like it.

I agree as does most UCLA fans. The story that UCLA has given us is that with the new adidas techfit jersey they (adidas) can't run the UCLA stripe all the way around the shoulder. So instead of UCLA stripes we have UCLA slashes...Also in years past the pants perfectly matched the helmet.
