Former Cowboys star Larry Allen one of 13 first-year Hall of Fame candidates; a lock
Former Cowboys star guard Larry Allen heads a list of 13 first-year eligible modern-era candidates nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013.
The headlines include offensive lineman Jonathan Ogden and defensive linemen Warren Sapp and Michael Strahan.
Allen, Strahan and Ogden are considered locks to enter the Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility. Sapp is a good bet as well. Other prominent first-year eligible candidates are safety John Lynch, kicker Morten Anderson, quarterback Steve McNair and running back Priest Holmes.

Priest Holmes had three good seasons, no way he is HOF worthy.

I hear Larry Allen wrestles grizzly bears in his spare time now.
"I just kind of stopped in the middle of a route, which is the worst thing you can do," Ogletree said. "He just told me, 'What were you thinking?' I kind of mumbled something to him and he was like, 'You're stupid.' "

He's the greatest offensive linemen of all time. Of course he's a lock.

LA, Ogden, Strahan are locks. They'll probably take one of the WR's:Brown, Carter or Reed and hopefully Charles Haley.

I'd say second. Walter Jones is probably the best. 23 career sacks and only 8 penalties if I recall.

I love Danny White but there is no way he is HOF worthy.
Same for Erik Williams. I think Larry Allen is a first ballot shoo-in but I'm not sure any of the other Cowboys are locks to get in. I don't see any Cowboy nominee beyond Allen (and possibly Haley) making it to the list of 15 finalists.
I love Darren Woodson but I can't see three Cowboys on the list of 15 finalists.

Maybe LA isn't the best all times, but Walter Jones wasn't better. No way. La completely physically dominated guys.
On another note, where is a good place to find stats like sacks allowed?
