Jimmy would discover that the salary cap and the new CBA wouldn't let him do those pysch-out tricks that he used so well in his glory days. No telling what his drafting would be like; the record in Miami was not so hot.

Yes, but not the drama.
I liked being able to edit mistakes. I liked helping people. The rest is not enjoyable.

The first thing he'd do is make the lunatic owner uncomfortable. Force him to back away and allow the coach to be the face of the team again.
Really, there is nothing else more important than that.
If we're pipe dreaming a return of Jimmy, it could only come with power. He wouldn't return without it. With that power means less Jerry. Less Jerry always equates to improvement for the Cowboys.

Compare the names of the o-linemen on the 1-15 team to the 10-6 playoff team two years later and the SB team the next year.

Just for kicks, who was the starting RB on the 1-15 team and who was the starting RB two years later.
Funny how no other RB besides #22 ran half as good behind that great OL.

Well, for one.....we're talking about Emmitt Smith here. An all timer. A generational talent.
Two, our depth at RB at that time was awful. Who are we talking about here? Derrick Lassic? Sherman Williams? Give me a break.
That was an epic OL.

The first two games of 93 were epic. Failures. Emmitt returned and look what happened. Small sample but interesting none the less.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

"We can't win with this kid"! Didn't they have to get Ronnie Lott to calm him down?

there is no way I think jimmy would come back to coaching, a GM position however... I think could be possible.. assuming that Jerry gives him full control as the GM.. and thats a BIG ASSUMPTION.

I doubt he'd even go for that.
But it's still interesting to talk about.

Have at it!

Release Romo, Never would have gotten Dez. Lee probably wouldn't get
discovered.
Release Miles Austin, Play Felix every down. Spencer would have gotten his walking papers. Rat Would be a DE ect..
Pretty much everything the fans want.

Walsh?
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".
