I'd put him in the top 5-7 range.
Sean Lee signing autographs. Awesome day.

I'll get some grief for putting Ryan above Tony but I am going on play as of today. Matt Ryan is absolutely looking like he will be a top QB for the rest of his career.

You will most likely get grief for Ryan over Romo. However, If I could redo my list I would rank Ryan over Romo as well.

What has Ryan done to be ranked over Romo? Not a damn thing. He doesn't even have a playoff win to his name. At least Romo has that. He's played better through four games so what? It's still early and Ryan at least has a consistent run game and an NFL caliber offensive line. Oh and receivers who aren't mentally incompetent.

I'd have to give Ryan the year to put him over Romo.. no playoff win though and I'd keep him below esp since they should probably only lose to two teams in the NFC.

1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. Manning, Eli
4. Brees
5. Manning, Peyton
6. Roethlisberger
7. Flacco
8. Romo
9. Ryan
10. Stafford
Even as recently as the middle of last season, I wouldn't have considered putting Flacco ahead of Romo. But Flacco has now shown me some darn impressive passing acumen, and so his playoff resume gives him the edge (perhaps not fair because he gets the Ravens D, but it is what it is).

No grief from me, Ryan is lighting it up this year. I honestly won't be surprised if he's in the MVP running.

Against 4 good teams, too.
Broncos - speak for self
Chargers - ^
Panthers - Cam, division
Chiefs probably the only "easy" one.

Panthers and Chiefs are good since when?
The Chargers haven't made the playoffs the last few years. The only good team is Denver. Like I said its still way too early, he hasn't won a single playoff game in his career, and he has a far superior and more consistent supporting cast than Tony does. There's no way in hell Matt Ryan is a better football player than Tony Romo.

Ryan is clearly playing better than Romo as of right now. Even with the o-line struggles, it's fair to admit that Ryan is better this season.

And again he's playing with a far better supporting cast and he hasn't really beaten anybody yet.
Get back to me when he outperforms Tony the entire season. If he does which I don't think he will.
Ryan is playing better than Rodgers by your logic he's better than him too.

Flacco has never showed me a thing. He has one of the best RB's, one of the best oline's, and of course a top notch defense. I personally thing Flacco blows. That's just my opinion.

Right now. If we're looking at a career standpoint, hell no, Romo over Ryan anyday.
