Default bengals rb gone for the year

could we swing a trade with felix we have 4 rb on the active roster and 1 fb. Seems a bit over kill. Lets just trade felix and move on. Better than getting nothing from him.

While I wouldn't be against the idea, I think the team would be reluctant to trade him away for what is likely to be a late round draft choice.

At this point, I can't see a team offering better than a 5th round pick for him and I don't think the egos at Valley Ranch could deal with the sting of letting a former 1st round pick go for so little.

That's pretty much how I look at that type of deal. No team is giving up more than a 4th for Felix at this point. Nor should they.

But a trade is possible. Make it conditional.

what do you expect to get for Felix? a 7th roud pick? is he worth trading for a 7th rounder?

if you think we can get a 5th round pick for Jones, then by all means jump on it because that would be highway robbery. he is not worth that at this point.

Benjarvis Green Ellis is still the starter...I doubt they'd want to give up anything for a backup

Who would you rather have: Felix Jones or Olawale? Bear in mind Olawale is free and Felix would cost a draft pick, albeit a low (6th or 7th) rd pick.

I'd choose Olawale myself.

How many times does this have to be said.....we get a 4th round pick if he walks at the end of the year, so why would they trade him for a 5th or less and then lose depth on top of that???

even if it had been mentioned as fact, that would have been wrong. there is no guarantee of any compensatory pick whatsoever.

Doubt the Cowboys would trade Felix to a team they'll be playing in Dec. With the Cowboys luck Felix will look like he did back in 08 and 09.

Like others are said we won't get much for him

but if there is any team desperate for a RB right now its Arizona

both their top backs are out and injury prone
