Twitter Romo hung up on Baltimore Media Conference Call... Cowboys deny it

Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider
Tony Romo hung up on us during a conference call. Apparently didn't like the line of questioning. Sensitive.

Cowboys haven't had Tony Romo back on call after repeated calls. He hung up after questions about consistency and dropbacks

Carlos A. Mendez ‏@calexmendez
Cowboys pr saying Romo didn't hang up, was asking, 'You there? Hello?'

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon
Cowboys PR folks say Tony Romo did not hang up on Ravens media, that there was a phone malfunction on Baltimore's end.

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins
@RavensInsider We've been told Romo didn't hang up. There was a bad connection, from what we've been told.

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr
For the record Tony Romo did not hang up on Ravens media as being reported in baltimore. There was a phone malfunction on the baltimore end

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon
I'll say this about Tony Romo: He excels at talking around questions without answering them. He doesn't get rattled by media.

Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider
@calvinwatkins Phone worked fine for Jason Garrett call, and was tested afterward. Ravens have repeatedly tried to get Romo back on call.

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins
@RavensInsider From what I've been told Romo remained on the line but couldn't get through. He had 2:30 p.m. CT meeting to attend.

Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider
@calvinwatkins Gotcha, it is what it is. No big deal.

Yea truth hurts, the questions should be directed toward the O-line and the play calling.

Can't say I blame him. Media is annoying as hell.

That doesn't sound like something Romo would do it's obvious he's frustrated.

I wanna hear the audio.

If it is true that he did not hang up - this Aaron Wilson owes an apology.

I did this all the time during H.S. Hang up and then have a witness hear me pretend something happened.

EPIC

Well Tony isn't the type to hang up on a media conference call so glad that issue has been cleared up.

the thing is, maybe the media in Dallas on the call could still hear him actually saying that??

Like sharks the media loves to prey on the ones who are down. Normally I don't get hung up on stuff like this, but I'd love to see Romo have a great game and lead the Cowboys to victory in Baltimore. Really give them something to write about.

Obviously not. I'd love to see juck try to be the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

There is no tougher position in sports.
