Lewis: Cowboys can try to run on Ravens D/Vickers: "Don't remember him being Houdini"

During a conference call Wednesday, the 13-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker made it clear that the Cowboys run defense shouldn’t be expecting to get on track against the Ravens.
“They can look to do whatever they want to do but it ain’t going to be what they think it’s going to be,” Lewis said.

When told of Lewis’ comments, Vickers said, “That’s just the way he feels. I don’t remember him being a Houdini or anything like that. He’s entitled to his own opinion. And if that’s how he feels, that’s cool, too. Kudos to him.”

Is a great FB supposed to cover up how bad we are on the OL?
In order for a FB to get to the LB to actually block him, there has to be a lane to run through.
Kind of hard to block LBs when offensive linemen are getting driven backwards into your path. |

Sad but true. Its why when I talk to other opposing teams fans and they say we have some of the dumbest fans in the league I don't even debate it. Its not even worth it because its some truth to it. Blaiming Vickers for the lack of running game is silly. |
