Swagger has begun to be used as a synonym for confidence, more or less...and I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who doesn't think that confidence is important.

I am actually starting to waver on this. I was very happy when Rob Ryan shot his mouth off last year, I thought it was the kick that the team needed to play with an attitude....didnt happen.

Now his brother (king of swag) is about to get run out of NY. I think that schtick may only go so far - especially when you get smashed in the face. That said, I think the Fischer, Harbaugh, types can be a swag that is controlled.

I think Rob has toned it exactly where it should be.

Whenever you two are done.. you may look back through the thread and see that NO ONE HERE HAS SAID that Vickers is to blame for the lack of a run game.

Coaches should never, ever, talk smack like he did. You can say he has swagger, but if you're not a player, you need to keep your mouth shut.

Some are dumb, some are spoiled, some are merely trolls from other teams.

It's as obvious as the Sun coming up tomorrow.

Fair, but this team had been docile for ages, I thought that was one of the last things to try.

Of course Schwartz and Harbaughs and even Belichek (Freddie Mitchell was the best) have been known to smack talk.

" Belichick is usually never one to give opponents motivation. But when your opponent is Freddie Mitchell, you can say stuff like this: "All he does is talk. He's terrible, and you can print that. I was happy when he was in the game." What's FredEx gonna do about it? He really was terrible. This is the truest thing anyone has ever said about anything."

Kind of hard to block LBs when offensive linemen are getting driven backwards into your path.

Bingo.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.

I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

Really? You guys are so jaded after four games that even what is said to the media, by one of our players, it's not good enough for you. Should've said something different, or not anything at all.

You guys are weird.

There is only one page.. and i read all of it.

Not one post insinuated that Vickers is to blame for our running failures.
