Definitely feet first strapped to a slow moving conveyor belt. That will give them time to think as they hear the wood chipper approaching.

I grew up in a small town with a steel mill. The steel was manufactured in this plant and shipped worldwide. In order to form the steel, the company used these huge furnaces to burn out and separate the impurities. Well, this unfortunate man fell into the furnace from above. Needless to say, he didn't last very long.

Ouch, that might almost be as bad as falling into a cauldron of melted sugar or hot oil. Scratch that, all three would be a bad way to go

Cauldron of melted sugar though?

No death is funny, but caramelized to death would be a weird way to go.

That is a huge fear of mine. Ever got hot, liquid sugar on your finger from cooking something? Or burnt your finger on cinnamon toast right out of the oven? That stuff does not come off in a hurry, that is for sure and it is painful.

You are right. It is very painful. The good news is that there aren't a lot of sugar cauldrons large enough for someone to fall in, except for maybe a candy factory. I apologize if I came off as making fun of your fears. Nobody would have thought hot grits would be a big deal until Al Green got burned with a pot.

That reminded me of a guy who died somewhat the same in a steel recycling mill. Once the slag had been poured off, they shoot it with water to cool everything down. Somehow there was a steam pocket and when the pickers went in to break up the slag, one of the guys hit the pocket and got cooked on the spot.

Wow that is a bad way to go as well. I don't know which one would be worse to be honest.

Good, then I won't tell you the one about the man that got eaten by giant spiders from Mars...

I think the guy that was eaten alive by his own pigs is still worse.

You guys are gross!

On another note I've been waiting on the water moccasin story.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Turns out that guy was killed in a giant walk-in, steam-induction pressure cooker, where large racks of individual cans of tuna are cooked and decontaminated.

I can't imagine which would be worse. "Cooking" to death by dry heat or being steamed.
