If everyone cheats and you just do it better, does that make you bad?

I am conflicted about Lance Armstrong -- as I imagine a number of folks are.
Outside of sports (however, DUE to sports) the man has done immense good.
On the other hand, I have a strong dislike for cheaters/liars.

I don't think cheating in cycling was all that bad.
I think his willful lying about it for years was bad.
I think he has done tremendous good for Cancer research and that he was a phenomenal talent.
But he was the best and most intense cheater. He made it a goal to be the best cheater. And he won with that. That's a little more than the average guy taking a few PEDs. This was a scripted drug-induced ride to the top of the Cycling world and to millions and millions of dollars.
Anyways, with the ridiculous level of new proof out there was just curious if people were backing off their pious claims of his innocence now.

excerpted.
Michele Ferrari
-- Doctor who served as a consultant and, according to USADA, assisted Armstrong and teammates with doping.
From February 1996 through December 2006, Armstrong made 11 payments, totaling a little more than $1 million, to a Swiss company Ferrari controlled. The payments ranged in amounts from slightly less than $15,000 on Feb. 21, 1996, to $300,000 on Oct. 6, 2003.According to the report, rider Tyler Hamilton "recalled that in 2001 Dr. Ferrari told Armstrong that he could continue to use EPO in competition if he microdosed EPO and slept in an altitude tent. Ferrari's explanation was that 'The altitude tent would boost the natural production of EPO and throw off the EPO test.' "
The report says rider Floyd Landis recalled that Ferrari attended a pre-Tour de France training camp for Armstrong's U.S. Postal Service team in Spain in 2004 "to monitor the team members' blood values and that Ferrari 'administered EPO and testosterone as needed to ensure the team was ready for the Tour de France.' "

No, not really. If they would have had one credible positive test, they would have taken action. They didn't and they still don't have anything but circumstantial evidence.

What "PED's" are they talking about.
Which kinds?
Most of the ones I have heard rumored do nothing but help you recover quicker from injury ......they would not help a healthy man bike faster.
victory is ours

I've never really liked the guy but I think he's done a lot of good things for charity and other cancer patients. Those things should be admired. I honestly don't care that he juiced.
There are just things about him I don't care for.

I feel as if Bonds tested positive and was caught. Night and day IMO.
However, in the case of the HOF, I don't think you can keep him out or ban him. All of Baseball is/was using in that era. You would either have to keep them all out or ignore it.

A buddy of mine had 3 different brain tumors. One of my other friends contacted the Livestrong Foundation to tell them about Dave.
Lance Armstrong called Dave personally. I will always appreciate that. In May, Dave graduated from Med School at the Univeristy of Arizona and he is now doing his residency.
He wants to be an Oncologist last I knew.
