Default Goodell in serious trouble?

Paul Tagliabue to hear appeals

Quote:
“The commissioner's decision today makes it clear to us that he's finally been convinced there is no way he could ever have been a fair and neutral arbitrator.”

Goodell's hypocrisy

Quote:
This wasn't the best morning for Roger Goodell. Hours after former Viking Jimmy Kennedy practically ran out of ways to call the NFL's commissioner a "liar," Goodell announced that he would be recusing himself from hearing the Saints' latest bounty appeal. Taking over? Wait a second … good God, that's Paul Tagliabue's music! Can you remember another commissioner having his objectivity questioned so vociferously that he had to enlist his former boss to clean up his mess? Me neither.

"Roger Goodell identifies me as the 'whistleblower' who approached former Viking coach Brad Childress about an alleged bounty on Brett Favre in the NFC Championship Game.

"That is a lie. I had no knowledge about any alleged bounty to reveal to anyone, and I never informed anyone that I did. Contrary to the false information disseminated by the NFL, coach Childress approached me and asked me if I knew anything about such an allegation, and I told him the truth: I did not. I had no knowledge of any such alleged bounty."

Nope.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

As long as he remains an asset to his masters, he will be allowed to keep his position....

Goodell started out well as Commish. Now he looks bad continually. His outta control style is far from desirable. There is no standard, except for whatever Goodell feels like doing.

Whats amazing is how many defenders he has had on this board. They have seemingly vanished lately, but his staunch defenders here praised and venerated him for his handling of this "bounty" stuff. Where are the defenders now? Why arent they singing his praises still? He was vaulted into a position similar to the Pope - he could do no wrong.

Appaently all the Goodell defenders have scurried off with nary a wimper

What you hope and what is reality are "too" very different things. That's been proven repeatedly in this forum regarding this topic. You have no knowledge of the topic in discussion and should refrain from posting about it. Yet you continue to post about it and make yourself look less and less credible. If that's possible?

p.s learn the difference between "too" and "two".

Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.

The guy got away with Spygate, meaning he's essentially untouchable unless owners like Kraft and the Rooneys decide they don't want him anymore.

By getting away with Spygate, I mean destroying evidence... In this case, he's making up evidence...

I wonder what will happen when both offensive and defensive players on different teams start putting stories and facts together.....if this all turns out to be true then Goodell looks bad all around
