I saw a report on a local station this morn that said it was $6 if you went the whole 41 miles. That sound about right?

Isn't there a stretch of highway in Montana that has no speed limit or did they do away with that?

Too bad the local toll road things aren't doing what they were supposed to (ie take traffic off I35), but it did keep a lot of local A&M engineers employed for awhile. Built by a foreign conglomerat too, iirc.

It should be safe at 85, not likely to be much traffic other than other hotrodders....

Well you tax EVERY resident in Texas for expressways, then try to make money on them to boot by making it a tollway... not a good thing... and not fair...

Perry is an arse... along with those that go along with him... and our City Council member Chris Riley who attaches bike lanes to everything... or votes no...

They ALL were just busted for violating the public open meeting laws. They said they were sorry and would never do it again and signed a crap piece of paper saying so... they should all be in jail...

My next traffic ticket? "Oh I swear it will never happen again, I'll sign a doc"... yeah right... putzes and crooks...

I agree, any speed can kill. 35 or 85.

Take advantage while you can...

130 starts just North of Georgetown all the way to Seguin, but they aren't clear if the whole thing is free just yet. Sounds like from 290 South but no one knows for sure...

Texas Autobahn for now...

Hopefully you get to, we'd welcome you here!

Are you originally from NJ?

You have received a slap on the wrist from the Cowboys Zone unofficial tracker of such things.

cost us $20+ to go through the whole thing twice and it is designed for that speed, going 90 was no problem, lanes are wide, curves are somewhat banked. Headed to SA next week, didn't know it was free, thanks for the heads up.

It is not the waitress's fault!

Well good thing the road was "designed" for 85 MPH.

I'm just waiting until 90 MPH is the speed limit so I can finally hit 88 in my time machine.

Stupid laws.

Roads?

Where you're going, you won't need roads.

True, but until my Ronco food processor arrives in the mail I need to get that thing up to 88 MPH.
