Yes they can be.
Some of my questions are easier than others and I have no problem if folks google the answers. Lord knows I certainly don't have all these factoids memorized! We got two draft choices for Craig Morton. With the first we took Randy White (#2 overall, 1st rd, 1975) and with the second we took Jim Jensen (#40 overall, 2nd rd, 1976).
Given that White is a HOFer I'd say we got the better end of that deal!

Oct 25 - Honors: Ernie Stautner's #70 retired by Steelers (1964), Mel Renfro inducted into ROH (1981); Released: Mike Hegman (1988); Media: Michael Irvin on cover of SI (1993); Milestones: Erik Williams injured and lost for season (1994)
Trivia: (1) On this date in 1989, Jimmy Johnson reversed course on Ed Jones. What had Jimmy decided about Jones and what made him change his mind?
(2) Also on this date in 1989, Jerry made a bold prediction about a Cowboy QB -- who was the QB and what did Jerry say?
(3) Finally, Erik Williams was lost for the remainder of the season because of something that happened on this date in 1994 -- what was it?

Jimmy was planning on benching Too Tall, snapping his consecutive games started streak (I don't know the number). After an outcry from fans, Jimmy decided to go ahead and start him.

This was something to do with Steve Walsh and how he would be the Cowboys QB for a gazillion years. Or something like that.

Yeah, I thought it was something like that. Even if it was, I'm not sure of the specifics.

Correct -- Jerry predicted Walsh would be a Cowboy for ten years. He was just a little off (Walsh was traded to the Saints in 1990).

1. Because the player's strike ended and the replacement players, the "scabs" were released?
2. Dwyer was a replacement player but I have no idea why he would have been a crowd favorite. Did he do backflips or something?

Correct on #1. Re: #2: Dwyer was indeed a replacement player. The reason he was a fan favorite is because of the enthusiasm he showed when he played (see image below). The regular Cowboys were so accustomed to winning they rarely got excited by winning (or losing). Dwyer knew he was a "short-timer" and made the most of it. He was also "fan friendly" by signing lots of autographs after every game he played.

Emmitt broke the NFL's all time rushing record, previously held by Walter Payton. Finally, an easy one.
