Wow that a gruesome looking injury. You wonder why these guys rush to get paid. Hopefully he can still have a Frank Gore type career (wrecked both knees). Hope for the best for this kid.

I was forever a "stay-in-school type fan. But that has changed as reality set in.
This is just a reminder of why these days none of us ever have a right to insist that players stay in school once they have high draft value. This applies to running backs most of all...as they have a certain number of carries in them and it doesn't matter at what level it is. He's just a junior, so things will work out eventually for him. Hopefully. |

Such a tough break for Marcus.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Sad as he just lost millions of dollars today from no fault of his own. His injury history goes to show you how you just can't take RB's high in the draft unless they are a generational talent and why you need a stable of capable backs in the league.
