Default Marcus Lattimore

Wow that a gruesome looking injury. You wonder why these guys rush to get paid. Hopefully he can still have a Frank Gore type career (wrecked both knees). Hope for the best for this kid.

I feel so bad for that guy. Hope he works his way back and can have a career in the NFL. Such a great talent.

Hope he recovers. Never like seeing those type of injuries.

Ouch, looks like that ruptured every ligament possible in that knee
Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.

I was forever a "stay-in-school type fan. But that has changed as reality set in.
This is just a reminder of why these days none of us ever have a right to insist that players stay in school once they have high draft value. This applies to running backs most of all...as they have a certain number of carries in them and it doesn't matter at what level it is.

He's just a junior, so things will work out eventually for him. Hopefully.

Such a tough break for Marcus.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Default Marcus Lattimore Injury

How far does he fall? That was a McGahee type injury. With his knee history, I can't see a team investing anything higher than a 3rd for him.

Sad as he just lost millions of dollars today from no fault of his own. His injury history goes to show you how you just can't take RB's high in the draft unless they are a generational talent and why you need a stable of capable backs in the league.

Depends on what the docs say and whether he returns to SC and plays well or goes to the NFL. Hard to say.

Poor guy. That is the tragedy of football.

No matter how good you are, it can all be over on any given play.

Personally I just don't think its worth it.

That's a damn shame. Hope he can still try to make an NFL roster eventually

Buffalo Bills Draft ‏@BillsDraft
News on 2014 RB Marcus Lattimore is broken femur, patella, and all four knee ligaments are torn. Horrible, horrible news for the young man.
