Nick Saban
Dude would have this defense on the 49ers level
He would build a run game too. That's for sure.

Why would he leave Alabama? He has it made there. He is a championship contender every year, gets all the players we wants and is making plenty of money. Oh and he doesn't have to deal with Jerry.

Unless Jerry steps down or disappears (how likely is that?), there is NO WAY he would come to Dallas. Also we'd have to assume JG would be gone. He is one of the most powerful coaches in the NFL and would demand the same responsibilities wherever he would go. I couldn't see that happening here.
If Reid gets fired there are A LOT of teams who would be willing to fire their coach and hand him the keys so would Dallas be the best situation for him? He might not want to stay in the NFC East and might actually want to go back to the West Coast where his home is (cough cough Chargers).
And lastly if he came here consider that he would probably bow everything up and start over. That means bye bye Romo and Rob Ryan and basically all of the coaches. He hand picks his staff, it would essentially be a clean house. He would probably draft a QB like Geno Smith or Collin Klein (crossing fingers) and migrate the staff he has now.
I just don't see this happening because of the chances of....
Andy Reid getting fired
Jerry handing over his control
Jason Garrett getting fired
Dallas beating more desperate teams in the Andy Reid sweepstakes
One can dream though.

You never know. People always ask this question...there's something to be said about conquering another challenge. The great ones want it, the good ones stay complacent.

We replace a coach with bad clock mangement skills and replace him with one that could be worse ?
No thanks

How long do you think it takes before Saban punches Jerry in the mouth? Hmmm, maybe not such a bad idea after all.

Yeah no way Parcells would come to Dallas either.

Alabama's media are pussycats compared to Dallas' or Miami's. Saban couldn't get away with his surly attitude and evasive answers with a national press corp.
He has the press eating out of his hands in Alabama. Why would he give that up? The press in Miami made him absolutely miserable.

I suppose that if you need a coach to clear out the cupcakes in Dallas then Andy Reid's your guy.

Trent Dilfer: "Tony [Romo] has greatness in him. I think when you talk to other people that really play the quarterback position, there's a few guys that really have incredible greatness in them, and Tony is one of them. I think the issue here is he needs more help from his teammates. I think they are not nearly as talented as people say they are, from 1 to 53. I'm talking about the total roster.”

Look at AR since Johnson passed.
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

The Opposite of Heaven no!!!!
If I had to choose for this group of knuckle heads I'd go with Gruden but he's too cerebral for this bunch but at least he wouldn't put Keystone Cops on the field.
