Claiborne DROY?
I've heard so much talk about RG3 and Luck as rookies of the year and rightly so. But I've not heard much on the defensive side of the ball.
It seems to me Claiborne is already the best corner on the team. Any other rookie playing as well?
I heard a little about a MLB for the Seahawks.
But CB is a position where it takes time to excell.

I love both those guys but my money is on Chandler Jones. Kid's going to be a superstar.
Claiborne needs more game changing plays to get on the list. It's always hard for corners without picks. Just being a wet blanket on a receiver won't get you the recognition it should for those types of awards.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Bruce Irvin is a situational passrusher, not even a starter.

Harrison Smith's been pretty good in MIN, too.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I think how Claiborne plays this week will go a long way in terms of recognition. Teams don't seem to be challenging him as much as you would've thought, considering that he's a rookie. I fully expect him to be in the mix for the award. We got a good one.

From what I've seen this season, I'd put it:
1.) Casey Hayward
2.) Chandler Jones
3.) Bobby Wagner
4.) Mike Martin
5.) Harrison Smith
6.) Mo Claiborne
7.) Alfonzo Dennard
8.) Luke Kuechly
But I have to admit, I don't really watch much Panthers. What I've seen, Kuechly looks OK, but Wagner has been better.

Wasn't Wagner our Second round target before we traded for MO?

That is the rumor. He's been terrific. We have an eye for linebackers.

You get voted in based on stats. He'd need at least 6 INTs to win, probably.

I'm just happy he's playing well enough to warrant the thread.
