He's not even liked in the 'Natti.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Probably not.

Are you referring to the fluff piece you wrote where you claimed everyone would excel because Sean Lee was injured?
I really don't think it's a reach to say Carter will be a good player. He was a highly rated player in the draft, and he's got a lot of potential.
About Collingsworth, I've never had an issue with him. Always liked him, as a matter of fact. He's critical at times, but that's needed and welcome. Much better than guys like Gruden who talk up every player like they're headed to the Hall of Fame.

Bruce Carter and Brandon Carr are playing really well for the Cowboys.

Really like how the defense is coming together. If they can just find a bit more pass rush at times they could by scary good.
On a fun note. Carter is also REALLY fun to user in Madden with his 88 speed at MLB you can really fly all over the field. I love Lee but sorry dude Carter gets the nod in my 4-3.

Clearly, you weren't around much when he was drafted, or during the season last season when he only played ST. Or this offseason when support for him overall was low.
As for Hos's 'fluff' piece, considering the flak he took for it and how the defense played subsequently against a good NY offense, you might want to rethink your take on what you mean when you call something fluff. In my opinion, you're better off acknowledging that Hos wrote a positive post that ended up being pretty on point, and then moving on to pick a different battle. Otherwise, you run the risk of looking like you're disagreeing just for the sake of being disagreeable.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

The defense has been playing well all year. Only giving up an average of 18 points a game. Losing Sean Lee doesn't make us better, which is what he was suggesting, that we'd be better because everyone would elevate their game in his absense. That was at least my take from it.
