No PBR in Texas????? That's not normal.

Morning Cbz. And an early morning hello and best wishes for all you other folk, too. Apparently the time fell back an hour last night and I was unaware of it. So I got up at 3:58 instead of 5:00 like normal. Not a problem though. I love mornings.
p.s. Since the discussion yesterday turned to beer, my favorite is Guinness. Has anyone else tried a beer called "The Three Philosophers" ? I'm not sure whether it is an ale, lager, pilsner or whatever, but I think it is a blend. I had a glass of it and it was very smooth.

Morning Pops --Morning Leon (never drank that beer) I don't venture to far from the ones I know won't trigger a headache. Most adult beverages trigger migraines, even when I just drink one.. keeps me out of the bars and at home tonight

Morning Pops and a good gameday morning to all.
Hope you's all set your clocks back last nite.
I have no expectations out of the Atlanta game. They are undefeated and a very good team that for some reason, is not getting a lot of respect. We shall see.
You folks have a great day ahead!

Morning Cbz. Morning Zoners. I wish there was an "Analysis Zone" where people could disect plays, strategies, coaching, mistakes, etc. without having to put up with the emotional hot heads on either side who turn everything into knock-down drag-out battles. I've got several questions, but I don't dare ask them in the fan zone.

Good morning, Cbz and good morning, Zoners. Leon, I agree with you 100%. I would like to think of that kind of zone is for grown-ups, but calling it the "Adult Zone" would just bring out a different kind of knucklehead, not to mention the Moderators would have a whole new dilemma. It is kind of sad that people can get so silly about a sport. I watched some of the game and noted the emergence of some young talent and the outcome was in doubt for a lot of the game. As always, I look forward to the next one.
Everybody have a great day and I'll chime in on the beer debate by expressing my prefrence for Guinness and some of the Dutch beers out there. I have never tried the "Three Philosophers", but I will add it to my "should try" list. Bob, I don't drink a lot, but I have friends who have similar issues with migraines after an evening out. They found that diet was part of the picture, but they are foucused on insuring low consumption. My wife gets reactions from certain wines that are aged in oak. I am blessed that I just get a bit sleepy and I self impose a limit of two drinks spaced out over an evening.
I will experiment at My local Lion's club meeting tonight.Everybody have a great day and take care. I will now venture into the Fan Zone to see if any mopping-up is required.

I actually think it would be simpler than moderating the rest of the site. The rules would have to be very clear and posters warned up front that the moderating in that particular zone would be ruthless. If you act out at all, even a tiny bit, you are banned from that zone. One week ban the 1st time; lifetime the second time.
It would quickly become a very small forum zone inhabited by people who just want to talk about Cowboys football in a rational, respectful and analytical way. Acting out could be defined in such a way as to eliminate the behaviors that are not conducive to rational discussion, including "I told you so", "That can't be true, because I've read it on this forum", "If you think otherwise you don't know football, and personal or sarcastic attacks on other posters.
Bob, could be the ruthless moderator assigned to that forum.

Leon, I crave that kind of informed, civilized discourse. I'm the first one to admit that there's a lot about football I don't know, and I particularly like hearing from those who have played, coached, or done serious analysis at the college or pro level.

Afternoon Weldon and all. Back from the game. Disappointed in the outcome but had a good time with all including all the Atl fans I met. Only one obnoxious Redskins fan who everyone had a hard time ignoring standing in the MARTA line. Glad to be back home and amongst all my friends here. Stayed at the Ellis Hotel which was across the street from the Ritz-Carlton (where the Boys stayed) and the MARTA line and in the middle of downtown.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.
