I'm on my third major overhaul of Isosceles that'll be done hopefully in time for the Dallas writers convention next year.

I just finished the new prologue last night and its nothing like the original. Three parts, all under two pages. Part 1, a doctor shoots two others in the isolation ward of st. Likes hospital in Manilla. Part 2, an 18 year old teeny bopper spoiled Indian girl gets abducted at a shopping mall. Part 3, a Senator's son dies of a heroin overdose.

Chapter 1, Afghan National Army supply officer steals a pair of Stinger missile launchers and six missiles from Bagram AFB in Afghanistan.

Chapter 2, a firefight at a remote patrol base in southeast Afghanistan.

Chapter 3, quirky FSB analyst thinks he's discovered a general's plan to perpetrate a coup against the Russian military.

Now you tell me what those six things have in common.
