When Jerry brings up the fact that he won 3 superbowls and then folows it up with the fiction that he has always "done things this way" (referring to himself as always making the final decision on coaches, players, etc.) I would love for someone to bring up that Jimmy has maintained in dozens of interviews (before and after leaving the Cowboys) that he (not Jerry) had final say over all football related items. According to Jimmy, he had that written into his contract before he agreed to leave "Tha U" and come to Dallas.
I would love for someone to bring this up in an interview and ask Jerry pointblank "Was Jimmy lying when he said that? Were you making all the decisions about who would be on the coaching staff and who would be on the roster while Jimmy was here?".
My guess is that if Jerry did assert that he was making all those decisions at that time that Jimmy would then pull out his contract and point out the exact clause that gave him control over those decisions.
Now, wouldn't that be an interesting discussion?
