Default Taylor: Jason Garrett's seat warms up

http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/...yton-available
ATLANTA -- The Dallas Cowboys have lost nine of their past 13 games. Jason Garrett's raggedy offense managed just one touchdown Sunday night... REST OF STORY ON LINK.

Time for the Dallas media to do their job and run this clown out of town the way they ran the last one out of town. Jason has gotten a free pass from the Dallas media for way. way. way. too long.

One of the most accurate pieces from Taylor's article:

Quote:
The beauty of sports is that it's fluid. What's true today might not be true tomorrow. What's true this month might not be true next month, and what's true this year might not be true next year.
This is absolutely true. Yet Jerry keeps pointing to the success the franchise had with him as GM back in the early 90s. That was damn near twenty years ago.

At some point you have to adapt to the changing times. Yet the idiot in charge refuses to budge.

It's why these losses don't bother me anymore. I'm to the point where I enjoy seeing Jerry have to swallow 6-10 seasons.

That quote about the beauty and what might be true this week, might not be next week, etc., blah, blah, blah, doesnt appear to apply to the Jerruh Cowboys. Its the same ole same ole year after year.

Might as well say the beauty for the Cowboys is that what was true the last decade might not be true the next decade - OH, but it is.

Do you really think Jerry cares about 6-10 seasons? Every year the Cowboys become more valuable because idiot fans keep buying tickets, shirts, jersey's, hats etc. Jerry is about money and he is still making a lot of it whether the Cowboys finish 16-0 or 6-10. If he didn't he would have stepped down a long time ago.

Just a couple of weeks ago, JJT said Garrett needed a contract extension.

Beat me to it.

This was just what I was going to post.

Hypocritical much JJT?

Not that I can fault the logic of possibly making a change, but for a guy campaigning for a Garrett extension a few weeks ago to do it is ridiculous.

Credibility = zero.

Then again, he works for ESPN...
