Default A game of words

Lightening it up a bit.

What are the most memorable phrases ever said by a Cowboy player, coach or front-office person that have now become well-known or oft quoted? I don't care if they were the first to say it, but they should be associated with the quote.

Here are two I had:

Terrell Owens: "Getcha Popcorn Ready"
Jimmy Johnson: "How 'Bout Them Cowboys"

Charlie Waters, the Dallas strong safety, dubbed Randy White with the nickname "Manster," because Waters reasoned "the way Randy plays he has to be part-man and part-monster."

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

During a postgame interview following that Super Bowl, CBS television announcer Tom Brookshier noted Duane Thomas' speed and asked him, rhetorically, "Are you that fast?" Thomas responded, "Evidently."

I thought of that one right away.

Here's a few, ...

Tom Landry, " no, Danny no!"

Hollywood Henderson, .. standing beside Ray Malavasi just before a kickoff, right before he illegally upper cut a Ram under the chin with a forearm, .."hey Ray, watch this!"

LOL!

"That's my quarterback"
