Default I think it may come down to Romo or Garrett

Garrett is running a system that needs a pinpoint accurate laser arm and a serious Oline. His routes are long. Romo is a west coast style QB all the way. IMO I think they dont compliment each other well.

Jerry is the biggest blind homer Romo fan there is. So what does that tell you?

I agree.

I think Romo goes, Garrett stays.

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"

Yep it will be a tough decision for Jerry but I think he'd kick Romo off and save Garrett since Garrett was specifically his guy from the start. Ever since he hired Garrett as the OC in 2007, it was assumed that he would eventually take over for Wade.

I think they both stay, and they continue to suck together.

If I were Romo there is no way I'd sign an extension with this team. Hit the market and try to go somewhere where I have a chance to compete in January. I bet he'd be amazed at how a real NFL franchise is run.

if that's the case then Garrett's goes. He is not a good coach.

Why? Because a good coach utilized the strengths of his players!! If you can't do that then you won't be successful as an NFL coach unless by some miracle Peyton Manning falls in you laps.

I want a coach who can take advantage of the players he HAS. Sure over his tenure he may draft to play HIS style.

Actually there are plenty of poorly run teams. In fact, I say it's the norm. There are VERY few well run teams.

he will also be amazed at how other fan bases don't gift wrap a golden spoon for him before he achieves anything.

I don't think it's necessary to mischaracterize Romo or mix and match offensive philosophies in order to make a good point.

You may be right in that Garrett is dead set on a certain system here and that Romo may not be quite the right fit for his system, but that doesn't mean that Romo is strictly one type of QB, especially a WCO QB, given that most teams today run an offense that, if not a WCO, is derived from that system.

I think its easier to find a good coach then a good QB most of the time.

Hopefully things get turned around and no one has to choose. If things don't get better, I know who I am sticking with. Hint: he is the guy who has proven more.

Yeah Romo's the problem the offense is a mess.

Coaches always go before players.
