26th in scoring.

Offense should be judged on points. Here are point rankings from what are typically considered good offenses since 2007

Year....Dal...GB....NE...NYG...SD...Indy...Philly. .Atl
2007.....2.....4.....1.....14......5......3....17. ....29
2008....18.....5.....8......3......2.....13....6.. ....10
2009....14.....3.....6......8......4......7.....5. .....13
2010.....7.....10....1......7......2......4.....3. .....5
2011....15.....1.....3......9......5.....28.....8. .....7
2012....26.....3.....1......2.....17.....25...30.. ....9

This offense is nowhere deserving of being 6th just from watching alone and not looking at stats. They look disorganized, confused and plain.

26th in scoring and 30th in rushing is unacceptable. I would like to know their ranking in the redzone also.
Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.

one could argue we self destructed in that game too, gave them 10 points right off the bat, threw an INT down in the red zone,,,,

You make your own breaks through preparation, capitalizing on opportunity, and minimizing mistakes, qualities this team is totally unfamiliar with.

Yards without points. Defense without turnovers.

Different year, same story.

Let's not forgot bad game management, playcalling and redzone efficiency.

How are the Cowboys 6th in offense? They were last in the league in scoring a few weeks ago..

The rankings are by yards gained or given up per game.

Agree with what Hoof said you can get alot of yards which has obviously been the case with Dallas, but they don't mean a thing if you can't get it in the end zone. That's been a problem for the last several seasons. Settling for too many field goals. Not being able to run it is also a reason why we've had red zone problems. It's hard to score touchdowns consistently if you are one dimensional and aren't able to run it down there on the goal line. Turnovers are another problem. Romo has 15 and the Cowboys as a whole have over 20.

Defensively we've been very solid. In the last two weeks we faced arguably the two most explosive offenses in football in the Giants and Falcons and gave up two touchdowns. I know forcing turnovers has been an issue, but overall you have to say this defense is playing as well as any defense outside of Chicago. What makes it even more impressive is Sean Lee went down with a season ending injury and yet this defense is still getting it done. I know they collapsed a little bit in the fourth quarter of the last game, but again the offense's inability to score points is just too much to overcome right now. They gotta get it going.

and seeing as how we have had no running game at all outside the ravens game and opening night against the GMen we have managed the 6th ranked offense (yards) virtually on the arm of Romo.

Im sure Romo is buckling under the weight of this team as it gets heavier every year.
