I blame Parcells, but that's another story..
People. When you see something like this, just chalk it up to agenda and stop reading.

Wut??
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

People. when you have no game, just waste bandwidth commenting on other people's posts.
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

So how do you explain his career year in stats last season?

Agenda driven no facts necessary

Fans...god love em. The guy cost us games last year, and is continuing to cost us games this year. Yes, I have a agenda, getting the cowboys to the super bowl. This guy isn't going to do it.

Not very many. The only really good one will go way before we pick.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I've noticed that about Jones, too. You just don't see many RBs able to cut at full speed and still have missem and balance. I just don't remember the last time I saw that from him although our RBs aren't at the second level that often. I was wondering why the stretch plays weren't working. No one seems to be able to get to the edge well. Witten doesn't get good enough blocks on the edge for one. I'm not sure we have any OL who get outside quickly and well enough. And why can't we run screens? I mean why can't they be coached? My guess is we don't have enough guys with the physical tools.

Felix looks slower since he went down awkward on his knee and has been listed on the injury report and did not finish that game. Since that run he has not looked the same out there.

I think his knee is effecting his running; That is another reason i like to see more Dunbar

I like how people forgot about the games he cost us last year and instead try to focus on his stats alone. The Wheels are falling off with this guy and on top of it all he doesn't seem to care as much anymore. This game against Philly will be a season ender if we lose and he just seems nonchalant about it. So tired of that attitude on this football team. Where is the angst? Very few players here seem hungry or motivated to me.

No kidding. Romo is a professional. To just assume he sucks now because his wife is undermining his career is ridiculous.

Don't throw him under the bus because he has a family now.

Nice post, CS. Encouraging news about Garrett. Sad about Romo. I've always liked him. And Dez is JUST FRUSTRATING TO ME, so I can't imagine how frustrating he is to Romo. I agree, at least give Harris and Beasley a shot. I'm afraid we won't see them until the season is officially lost.

Funny, if you watch the Jimmy Johnson football life clip, one thing he says point blank.."hit me in the head with a hammer the next time I draft a stupid player."

I guess Dez falls under this group. All of those rumors that Dez would not see another contract in Dallas may be a lot more than rumors. You can not win with a roster of project players in the NFL. Draft picks are too valuable to waste every year. Until this team drafts better year after year, our franchise will continue to hover at 8-8 to 10-6. That is the cold hard facts.

Excellent post, thanks for sharing your insight into the team, it is always nice to get an educated opinion.

The first player that everyone thinks of when you hear Jimmy say that is Dez! Makes you wonder, it does seem like Jason has taken that to heart, just look at the last 2 drafts. I remember some of the posters talking about that during the draft, how Jason seems to be going after smart football players, captains, etc..
