Default Nail on the head: Jimmy Johnson said Jerry put players on a pedestal - Vid Post #10

Jimmy on FOX just laid out the complete truth.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.

I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

All the same stuff but added that Jerry puts players on the pedestal before they even win a game.

I'm sure Kilyn will put up a vid.

He also said the players answer to Jerry, so the head coach is powerless. Truth!

It's not just Jerry because the DFW media and the fans have done this too.
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

Video Video - Fox NFL Sunday Pregame - Cowboys at Eagles

FOX HD feed died halfway through, sorry.

"I just kind of stopped in the middle of a route, which is the worst thing you can do," Ogletree said. "He just told me, 'What were you thinking?' I kind of mumbled something to him and he was like, 'You're stupid.' "

"If we can get the running game going early, that'll open up the passing game for Troy." - Jerry Jones, 11/12/12

LOL So the fans and media are NOW responsible and can have that kind of impact that Jerry would OVERPAY guys who haven't proved themselves?

Or they have that sort of clout to keep a guy like Dez who still doesn't know what's going on (as MI just said on his pregame show) starting, even though most analysts and fans feel Romo ignores him on purpose.
Wow.

Wow.
Wow did you misinterpret my post.

All I'm saying is that the media and fans are also guilty of overhyping players after they do something good.

Never did I ever say that the media and fans are responsible.

But please keep going with the agenda, its quite amusing.
