Philly isn't even a dumpster fire... I think they're just the burned out old hamburger wrappers that remain. They know Reid and Vick are out and they're just trying to muddle through. They look about like us before Wade was fired in 2010.

But Washington I expect to play us tough. They've had a lot of injuries, but I think they'll get up for us like they always do. We've barely beaten them the last couple of years with Rex Freaking Grossman, and now they have a far superior and dangerous QB.
Ivy League

Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

This precisely mirrors my concern. Philly remains dangerous and if they get it going early in today's game, it could get ugly. Never underestimate Andy Reid...

Ew. I wish you hadn't mentioned that. I'd forgotten about it completely.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

We usually freeze like a deer in the headlights in must win games.

I live here in PHILLY and i usually look forward to these matchups and all the hype but i am just not looking forward to this game today. This team just scares me on what they do week in and week out...finding ways to lose. And if they lose today i will have to hear it all week. I am just not confidant today.

Yea, but our defense was a very poor matchup for their offense last season, combined with a poor game plan. And if I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong here), didn't Sean Lee get injured at the beginning of that game last year and was taken out as a result? We had two huge liabilities in their with James and Brookings against the Eagle's O for pretty much the whole game, not to mentioned our poop stain of a secondary.

We're much better equipped to deal with them this time around.

No doubt. But, if I'm being honest, I was just as sure last year that we were going to beat them as I am today. That was a game that just stunned me, and I felt like an idiot for expecting such good things.

He basically took the wind out of my sails here this morning. I still think we win, convincingly, today, because the matchups really are in our favor (better coverage ILBs, better CBs, and we've got a major advantage on their battered OL). But now I've got the seeds of doubt, thanks to theebs.

We can definitely lose. Redskins offense is dangerous and if Philly would use McCoy more they'd be dangerous.
