Yes he meant shane. Also in the comics lori did not die at this point but shortly after when something else happens.

In the episode Lori is dead and is not coming back. Whether Carl shot her or not makes no difference as the fat zombie that rick killed did indeed eat Lori and had hair in his hands and mouth...they talked about this in the talking dead episode.

Carol seems to still be a mystery which kind of sucks because we had to go through that crap with her Daughter Sophie...so hopefully they will have her show up in the next episode (alive or undead) and not drag that out.

I think they learned their lessons with Sophie (not to mention a different guy is steering the show starting with the resolution of the Sophie saga if memory serves). I lay serious odds that Carol is resolved by the end of the next episode so they can get on with the Governor vs Rick plot.

Part of me was hoping they would not do the phone thing but I knew they would because as crazy as it makes him seem, it is really what keeps him on the path from going fully crazy.

I don't want to be spoiled here, but who would have the number for that particular cellblock phone AND would elicit that reaction from Rick?

I guess I'm just asking for some speculation.

I think the phone may be a swerve for the comics reader and may actually be carol trapped in another part of the prison .... maybe the phone was on one of the same circuits as the alarm from last episode.

Interesting take...but wasn't there a scene where Rick said something to Carl about remembering who you are...or holding on to yourself...something along those lines?

That is an interesting take about phone.

It reminded of the "Twilight Zone" episode where the old gal keeps getting nightly phone calls from someone that knows her but she initially doesn't know the caller.

Later we find out the phone line has been downed next to a cemetery with the broken line laying on the grave of her former fiancé.

That's understandable.

I don't see Rick dying unless the series ends.

Good episode last night.

The "hunt" for Michonne was pretty good.

And her slice across the abdomen of one of the zombies was one of the best scenes I've seen in any zombie film/show.

G O Back and merle calling it a biter gram (think that was what he said)that cracked me up.

Also I am glad they sewed up a situation to keep it from becoming a Sophie situation. (trying not to give a spoiler away).

Michone. One would think that if she was smart enough to use zombies as "escorts" to help keep other zombies off of her that as some point she would have figured out the zombie blood/guts smell on a person would help keep others from realizing she was alive. Not a big thing but just found that curious.

I was wondering why they weren't attacking her... then I figured it was guts in the bucket, or maybe a certain tree sap since she had just been in the trees...

Very good episode. I can't wait for the throwdown. I just hope we don't lose many more characters, I like most who are in the group now.

Oh, I think it's a safe bet that more characters will be lost...
