Cowboys Pro-Bowl Nods
I know it doesn’t matter, but I was thinking about this today.
At a little past the midway point of the season, do we have any players that you feel are on track for a Pro-Bowl nod?
I’m thinking maybe Ware or Carter, if he keeps up his play. Perhaps Carr.
What do you think?

Yep. Too many good LB's in the NFC for Carter to be a Pro Bowler this year.

There would have to be significant improvement in play to go beyond these 2. Had Lee played the entire year, he would have been in consideration also.

Honestly, the only player remotely worthy of it this year was Sean Lee, and he got hurt.
Ware continues to disappear for long stretches, and Witten had such a horrible start to the season, he's still got a lot of catching up to do.
So....nobody.

That;s why Witten is second in the NFL in yards as a te behind Tony..

hmmm.......
Doesn't he lead all TE's in receptions? If not, he's pretty close to the top.

He has five more catches than any other tight end.
And Ware is tied for the NFC lead in sacks. He "disappears" less than any other pass-rusher in the NFL.
Some people are completely clueless.

Well, now. That was embarrassing. Do we place bets on whether it gets a reply that tries to deflect the point or no reply at all? I'm going with 'deflects the point, ineffectively.'
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

And in terms of total receptions (including WRs), isn't Witten around number 3 in the entire NFL right now?

Football, you should watch it.
At this point I dont see anyone other than Ware and Witten but I have hopes for huge Nov/Dec for several players.

Yes, he's three catches behind Reggie Wayne and one behind Brandon Marshall. Wayne has been targeted 22 more times than Witten has, and Marshall has been targeted 14 more times.
