Default Lincoln

Everyone should watch it. Daniel Day-Lewis was absolutely brilliant in it and the movie itself was beautiful(outside of his tragic death of course).

Hopefully it's better than There Will Be Blood. What a snoozer that was. I'm not a big fan of DDL but he is a fantastic actor.

I'm surprised you thought There Will Be Blood was boring. You're actually the first person I've talked to who didn't like it it.

Lincoln could get a little heavy and is laced with the language of the times. But, it was actually pretty witty and funny at times. I'd give it a shot if I were you.

It's on my list to see.

It's currently, the only movie on that list that is actually already playing.
Formerly the notorious nyc!

I've got more red flags than Soviet Russia!

There is a good chance that you don't like me, but there is a better chance that I don't care.

If I'm not insulting you, I'm probably not aware that you exist.

Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.

Thanks for posting a spoiler to the ending

DDL is by far the best actor out there today.

Compare Last of the Mohicans, Gangs of NY (Bill the Bucher is unbelievable), There will be Blood and now Lincoln.

I agree and Gangs of New York is one of my favorite movies. I think I've seen every movie he's been in except Last of the Mohicans and this blows them all away. It's actually creepy how much he looks like Lincoln in this. His acting alone gave me goosebumps about 5 or 6 times throughout the movie. He delivers a powerful performance, as cliche as that sounds.

Skyfall was pretty good too, I saw that right after. You might want to add that too if you didn't see it.

Maybe it picks up towards the end. I could only bear about half. I found it very slow. IMO

Didn't hear too much about this movie, other than seeing a couple trailers but looks interesting.

No, it never picked up. I thought it was terrible as well. And I am really not fond of Lewis' movies, despite his excellent performances. Lincoln was pretty good though, saw it this morning. I'm not sure about it's historical accuracy though.

Is any Hollywood movie is ever hirstorically accurate. IMO, you just go to be entertained.
