Currently it is the Steelers/Ravens.

A few years ago it was Colts/Patriots

All time, Bears/Packers or Cowboys/Redskins - take your pick.

USA Today has a top 5 list. Note, they are all division rivals:

1) Ravens/Steelers
2) Cowboys/Redskins
3) Patriots/Jets
4) Bears/Packers
5) Eagles/Giants

Rivalries are pretty dead these days. With so much turnover of the rosters every year, you just don't have the hate between the players like you used to. The faces change too much to identify any one group as the Cowboys or the Redskins. He may be a Cowboy this year and a Redskin the next.

Only the fans still care much about it.

Sad and true at the same time. Most "rivalries" these days pop up and last but a few years maybe. Before F/A the turnover in personnel was slower and smoother, helping to sustain rivalries from one generation to the next.

The decade thing is irrelevant.

The teams and the cities hate each other.

It seems the division is always at stake when they play.

It has to be at the top of the list right now.

Not another rivalry that comes close presently.

I loved the Pats/Colts rivalry too. Maybe Luck can recreate it. Maybe as early as this Sunday. Should be an interesting game that I'd watch every snap of if Peyton Manning wasn't playing on another channel.

For right now - I agree - but that too is dying a slow death. The best rivalry the past 10 years in my important opinion has been the Colts/Patriots. Brady/Manning wars were epic.....

Raiders/Steelers in the 1970s was pretty darn good too.

I hate Washington more than any other team, period! So, for me, Cowboys/Redskins is #1 to me

The cowboys redskins rivalry has been dead for quite some time

for the fans it might be a rivalry but these two teams are usually fighting for 3rd or 4th place in the division so who really cares?

if the two teams were fighting for playoff position then it would be bigger, but thank the skins for sucking it up year in and year out and the cowboys for being mediocre at best year in and year out

Not sure if serious or just clueless...If you really think the Cowboys have been one of the worst teams in the league the past decade, you have no clue how awful many of the teams have been.

Steelers v.s Ravens is the best rivalry right now.

We'll see if that's the case on Thanksgiving. Don't be surprised if the Redskins come into town with a chip on their shoulder for that game.

I want the Redskins to make the Championship game. And I want the Cowboys to knock them off in that game. We owe them a few.

The Cowboys have been one of the least successful teams over the last 15 years. Practically the entire NFC has played in a Championship game over that time.

Clueless would be to believe we haven't been an irrelevant also ran over that time. The same applies to the Redskins. Even moreso than the Cowboys. They've gone 20 years.
