The main writer got fired so they got set back. Last I heard they were filming but Chevy Chase dropped the N bomb and I haven't heard anything since. Apparently Chase is a real D-bag to work with.

Although, as far as I'm concerned that's just another example of TV show failure. They might as well be waving magic wands for any sense that show makes.

both Revolution and Last Resort failed the common sense test so frankly would have no trouble at all if they both disapeared

I watch past resort but will not be bothered at all if it is cancelled, it is just not that good to be too invested in. Revolution I already quit watching so if it stays or goes it will not impact me at all.

I don't think Revolution is that bad. I enjoy it. It is alot better than most network shows. Recent eps have picked up. Its ratings would have to halve for it to be cancelled so it is one of the safest shows on tv, it is safe to invest in which makes it a good choice for sci fi fans.

*Shrugs* I really wasn't impressed by either show. They were OK but I'm not going to miss them.

This is exactly how I feel. I really thought I would like Last Resort more than I do, but the story line is just so boring. I usually enjoy post-apocalyptic shows, but Revolution fails miserably to capture my interest. The only decent acting on that show is by the guy playing Miles and on any other show, he would be in a supporting role at best. As much as I was looking forward to both of those shows, I will not be sad if they fail to make it out of the first season.

If all of your favorite shows are the ones that end up being cancelled, then maybe it isn't Hollywood, it's you. Get better taste.

For me personally, the problem I have gaining interest in shows like these is, they're storylines become so convoluted and dependent on you knowing how the characters are connected, it makes it all but impossible to keep up. Especially if you never started watching from the get-go, or miss more than 2 weeks.

Plus, between Discovery, History, NatGeo, Animal Planet, PBS, sports etc etc, I can barely keep my DVR from staying 75% full.
