Default Browns President Mike Holmgren makes rounds at Cowboys Stadium

Browns President Mike Holmgren makes rounds at Cowboys Stadium, would reportedly only coach Dallas
By Nate Ulrich
Published: November 18, 2012

Mike Holmgren, the Browns’ lame-duck president, would only return to coaching for the Dallas Cowboys job, ESPN’s Ed Werder reported today, citing a source.

Holmgren made the rounds today during pregame warm-ups at Cowboys Stadium. He shook hands with former Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, who held the same role with the Browns from 2009-10, patted Cowboys coach Jason Garrett on the shoulder and drew the attention of cameras by chatting at midfield with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for about seven minutes.

Last Sunday, Jason La Canfora of CBS reported that Holmgren “has serious interest” in coaching the Cowboys if the job opens. Holmgren said Monday he hasn’t expressed interest in the job, but he never said he wouldn’t be interested if it became available.

Werder clearly likes to **** with people because he said JG's spot wasn't open but continues stir up drama. I hate people like him.

With every win, Jason makes it much more likely that he stays the coach.

With every loss, he makes Jerry think about alternatives.

I would have thought that would be exactly what fans want.

Well, they got the salary worked out.
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

I'd rather have Payton. We should have never let him go. He really made Parcells look good. But I'd take him over Garrett. Garrett is clueless. Argue with that, and you're one dumb son of a gun.

Bye, RGIII
