[quote=cowboys2233;4851092]But isn't that reason for optimism, that you've seen them play at a level where they could be competitive with anyone? It would be one thing if the team just wasn't very good but we DO have talented players.

It did at first.

For the first season or two. But now I see this team giving games away they had every right to win - both last year and this one.

And to see this talent being wasted has me really fustrated.

And I can no longer ride the emotional rollercoaster that this team has kept me on for two plus years so I choose not to.

I assume the worst and if that doesn't happen, I am pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed.

I still have faith that the collective light bulb can turn on for this team and we can get on a roll heading into the final stretch. And it starts this Thursday. Lets rock.
And I sincerely hope that you're right!

I have viewed him as just an embarrassing noisebox for years. People get way too worked up about BS that comes out of Jerry's mouth. I like the TO example - just because something comes out of Jerry's mouth does not mean that is how he truly feels.

Ha! Seems like we were at this point a week ago hoping for a solid mistake-light performance against a seemingly inferior team. We really need to let the offense rip in the first half IMO or we will be playing catchup against a guy that score faster than us. Yeah, an ugly win would be good!

So it is saying we have no hope because of Jason and Jerry.

What a concept.

I will just keep on watching and being happy when they win ....... thanks anyway.
victory is ours

I think it was pointing more to Jerry than Jason.

And more pointing to the past than reflecting on hope moving forward.

But yea, wins are good.

I think the star of these last two games has been Harris. He's had a big return in each and drawn several PI calls. He looks like he's starting to come into his own. 'Tree may have lost his job.

really looking that way. he hasn't practiced yet this week due to concussion, so we may see Harris and Beasley get enough opportunities to overtake him completely.

I'm not understanding the use of Beasley - or lack thereof.

He seems to get in the game early.

Catch the one pass thrown to him.

And then get little playing time thereafter.

well, now that there is the necessary injury to a player in front of him on the depth chart, we may see that change

I think that's my point here (other than the one on top of my head), that I'll take ugly wins over no wins.

Don't play dumb with me, I'm better at it than you are.
