He did not play many games, but he was still re-signed, which was the point. You can only allocate so many dollars to a position. The secondary is not the problem, the problem lies in the trenches.

The problem is both. Team has some good linebackers, some good corners, horrible safety play and horrible d-line. The first and last line of defense

I was someone who admittedly campaigned for us to sign Asomugha last year and now I'm glad we didn't.

While I still believe he would have been a huge upgrade over Terrence Newman in Rob Ryan's defense, he's checked out in Philadelphia and epitomizes the 'quit' that has spread through that team.

In fact, he looks like the poster boy.

At this point, I'm glad he's their mistake and not ours.

I know most people on this board will disagree but I watched this guy in Oakland and I know he still has a lot left in the tank. The Eagles have been using him incorrectly, not to mention the entire team is in disarray.

WIth Jenkins obviously leaving next year, I think we should sign him. His market value will be low considering his recent struggles with the Eagles and he could come fairly cheap. Rob Ryan would definitely find a way to utilize his strengths and he could provide good depth.
our problem is not at CB. its on the DL. I would rather spend money there

Our problem is not at CB now that we have some very good talent back there. Last year it was a big problem.

You can never have too many good CBs in today's NFL. But I do agree we have more imparative areas. If we can get Asmogha at the right price I'm all for it.
