It was a horrible call by the refs... HOWEVER it was an even worse punt by Mooreman!

In todays NFL that is going to get called every time.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray, Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8. |

There are several possible ways to address this:
1. Make players wear long hair inside the helmet. 2. Have a rule that the nameplate must be visible. 3. Instruct officials that any tackle that might be a horse collar but cannot be confirmed due to long hair will not be flagged. |
