Yeah. If he expects success than fire himself as GM. Would be the single most successful thing he could do to move this franchise in the right direction.

Mr. Jones the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

i've got news for you

many of our fans are stupid

just read this board for a sampling of the over the top crazy sunshine pumping that goes on by allegedly "football smart" fans

we get crazy statements like

its a process and it is only garretts second year as HC (completely ignoring that he has been OC for 5+ years)

great defences are built through a good secondary becasue 'this is now a passing league'

we dont need a real NT for our 3-4 (clearly bellichick and lebeau know nothing about the 3-4)

out OL is struggling because costa is hurt (a long shot, who has strugled all last season, and has not been on the field for more than 2 games at a time this season)

garrett is a great OC and HC (mistly becasue he gives great PCs and talks a good game in cliches)

and on and on

all you can do is shake your head

Here's yet another serving of BS from our resident spinmaster. Pardon me while I regurgitate.

About time he stops being satisfied with Garrett taking us in the wrong direction.

Personally loved Tim MacMahon's line, Garrett is all process and no progress.

Yep. It's very depressing but you're 100% correct. I mean I'd love to have Sean Payton but will he be able to coach here under Jerry? The only way is if Jerry backs away and gives Sean the control Parcells and Jimmy had.

peyton already has a job lined up (NO)

if jerry goes to him it will be hat in hand

hopefully peyton will be in a strong bargaining position like BP did

He's our only hope, he knows Tony Romo and the offense. He'll hold players accountable. You won't see what you are seeing with Garrett.

Payton will leave New Orleans for Dallas if the price is right. Jerry isn't getting any younger and he knows time is running out on this current roster. If for some reason we can't land Payton we need to blow this team up with another head coach.

With Payton we won't have to do that. Jerry said the same thing about Wade and he fired him too. If we continue to struggle down the stretch which I think we will, Jerry will lure Payton away from New Orleans and pay him what he wants.

I agree. Reading between the lines of what Jerry said, it looks like Jerry may be starting to think about a change, unless the on field product changes drastically.

Then again, trying to interpret Jerry's gibberish can only lead to insanity.

Jerry continues to sail up that river in Egypt (Denial) and he really doesn't want to get the understanding thatt he problems begin with him. As long as he maintains that the way he runs the football side of his business will always be this way, then not much will change. It won't matter who's coaching or playing, the resuklts will continue to be similar. Mr Jones has become the Clown Prince of Mediocrity. He is destined to celebrate the wins that his team will get and will minimize the defeats. There's only one cure for Al Davis Disease, and Jerry is simply too healthy for that. All we can do is hope.
The Truth will STILL not be the first casualty of war

It's funny how an owner can expect success after 1 playoff win within the past 16 years.
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.

2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.

3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.

4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.

5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

That's the sad truth of it all.
