If I knew what "Garrett's system" was I might could give an opinion.

I just think that's ridiculous considering I just watched Jim Harbaugh take a second year QB in his second career start, on the road for his first career road start and beat a division opponent. A QB who plays a completely different style of football than that of the guy who was SF's previous starter the last year and a half.
SF and NO are in the same division? Did I miss something?
There's always more to the story.

Harbaughs system is easy to plug in a new QB (plus Kaepernick has a year under the system under his belt) because all he asked Smith to do is be a game manager and let his run game be the offense. So with that being your gameplan, why couldn't you let anyone do it? I don't see your logic.

And for the second part, yes I do agree our play caller and QB and a mismatch because neither is changing their style. Garrett continues to call his vanilla, low risk, slow as molasses plays, and Romo tries to execute them like their Oregons spread offense. Bad mismatch. Just give Romo the reigns and step aside Red.

Nevermind that! I was thinking of the old days when the Saints were in the West.

Does Garrett have a system? I'd love to know what his system entails exactly. Especially since it doesn't seem like anyone plays well till the gameplan is thrown out the window.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Where did you hear this?

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Have you noticed SF's Offensive Line and running game?

The 49ers lead the league with 1,797 rushing yards.

The Cowboys are last in rushing yards with 866.

And why is that? Because they actually make a commitment to emphasize it?

Pick 1 out of the 100's of Garrett sucks threads, it's clearly implied if you read between the lines...

"Garrett's system doesn't play to Romo's strength's" is basically the gist of it....

Personally I'd like to see more roll outs and play action, screens, WR screens, and I would like to see Romo hit receivers in stride more or just simply hit them on the money when they are open, more...
