it doesn't even matter if they "could". maybe demarco "could" have also. doesn't mean they "should" or that the team would let them. what a strange statement.
plus, it started comparing how many games Peterson missed with an ACL opposed to Murray and his injury injury - which makes no sense. Peterson had all offseason to recover, Murray was injured in the middle of the season.

Personally, I don't question the toughness of most of the injured players.
But I am beginning to wonder about the durability of some of them.
Some bodies just aren't built to withstand the rigors of an NFL season and if it's not one thing breaking down, it's another.

Ahmad Bradshaw is expected to play Sunday when the New York Giants visit the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Bradshaw was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday, and limited Friday before being listed as questionable.
Schefter is basing his report on the fact that Bradshaw has played through several foot ailments in the past.

See where it says that: Schefter is basing his report on the fact that Bradshaw has played through several foot ailments in the past.? Some guys play through injuries, some don't.

why am I in here???? I guess all I can do is
here is what you said:
I agree with this. Nobody is immune, not even Adrian Peterson. But Murray has missed more games than Peterson even though Peterson tore his ACL.
i was just saying this is a ridiculous statement and doesnt make any sense. of course murray has missed more games when his injury occurs in the middle of the season, as opposed to right at the end with no games left/

For all the talk about the Cowboys' injuries, it isn't like they were winning with those players.
When Barry Church was lost for the season, the Cowboys were 1-1.
When Phil Costa went out for an extended period of time, they were 2-2
When Sean Lee was lost for the season, they were 2-3.
When Tyron Smith suffered his injury, they were 4-5.
When Bruce Carter was lost for the season, they were 5-5.
The Cowboys have been a .500 team no matter who's been playing for them.

What is missing in your analysis is that of our first 8 games or so we had a very tough schedule. Five road games. Facing teams like the Ravens (9-2), Falcons (10-1), Giants (7-4; twice), Bears (8-3). The "softer" matchups were against the Bucs (6-5) and Seahawks (6-5). The only team we faced that isn't in the playoff hunt is the Panthers (2-8).
Now as we are firmly in the much softer part of our schedule, we are undermanned. I expect that having Church, Lee, and Ratliff for example, might have made a very big difference in how we handled the Redskins last week.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I still beleive some guys play hurt and some dont. Ratliff gets a high ankle sprain and misses 4 games. Some other guys miss the whole season with a similar injury. You know a guy like Costa, for example, will not make it back with a similar injury. Terrell Owens breaks his ankle and returns in time to play in the Super Bowl.
