If Romo stays then Andy Reid should be hired
The only way that Romo could possibly move this team into the playoffs deep and possibly a SB is to run the West Coast offense. Andy Reid is a master at it. Jeff Garcia excelled in it. Thats telling. Romo is a WC Qb all the way IMO. Keep the short crossing routes and use the movement of the WCO.Quick throws,etc.. Reds offense is not suited for Romo at all. This may be the only saving grace if we MUST keep Romo cause of Jerrys infatuation.Andy Reid is a very smart coach. If he made Jeff Garcia and Mccnabb successful........

Reid needs a year off to do any team any good. He has coaching burnout. Don't want him in Dallas anyhow.

We're firing Coach Opie and bringing in Coach Eat 'em Up. It's just not going to happen, juck.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I think Reid is ticketed to go to San Diego.
And honestly, he looks like a man who's run out of answers.
"I don't understand it Stephen, it's opening day 2014, where is everybody?"

Norvs offense needs a Brady type QB. Big accurate arm. Romo is a WC QB.

If we demoted Ronald McDonald and brought in Reid. He'd get even fatter from all of the cheeseburgers.

I personally would welcome Gruden well over the Walrus.

I think Romo will be 33 next season and it would take two years for any WCO guru to fully implement his playbook. I have serious doubts that Romo has the skillset to win a championship at this stage of the game, I'm even more doubtful that Romo will have the skillset to win anything at 34 or 35 years of age.
Craig
Chicago thought they had a QB in Rex Grossman, Carolina had faith in Jake Delhomme. What does this have to do with the Dallas Cowboys? It just might mean that Tony Romo isn't what we thought and we may have to move forward without him.

As bad as Philly looks it wouldn't make any sense to fire one coach who isn't getting it done for another one who isn't getting it done. Reid has been going through some difficult times for quit awhile off the field with his sons drug issues and it really came to a head with the death of one of them during training camp. It may have carried over to his on the field performance as a head coach. You can't just hire a coach off their reputation you have to look at the job they're currently doing and Reid hasn't done a very good job lately. We're seeing a lot of the same issues with Philly that we're seeing with the Cowboys.
Having to make the change from McNabb who was in decline to Vick has been part of the problem in Philly but Reid's family issues have probably taken their toll on him. As already mentioned he needs time off. The Cowboys need an experienced coach who's full of energy and is prepared to put everything they have into turning the Cowboys around. Andy Reid wouldn't be the direction I would go.

I'll be shocked if Andy heads anywhere but San Diego.
