Whatever you want to invest in a RB take about 70% and invest it in the o-line (unless you are already thinking late round pick)...with a quality o-line you can get very serviceable RBs, and then once the o-line is solved, go invest a bit more into the RB. That's how I'd approach it.

Last year they tried to get Cyrus Grey in the 6th I think....just find some guy like that that can pass block, is a determined runner, smart, and reasonable athleticism. Its that last aspect that vaults players up the board, but you can do just fine with a 4.5 RB as opposed to a 4.3. Would like 4.3, but would take a big nasty linemen 7 days a week instead.

A good line makes average skill players outstanding production players, an average line can be made to look good with HOF elite skill players, but a poor o-line sucks for everyone all around - RBs, WRs, TEs, and of course pinata QBs.

I'd like to think Murray is a fluke thing given his track record at Oklahoma. Felix unfortunatley is not.

I am thinking he is done for the year based upon recent reports.
The real question is...

Does it really matter?

there you go

a fully healthy murray gets 12 touches a game

a less than healthy murray gets 3 touches and maybe 2 swing passes

and we'll be out of the playoff picture anyway

OMG!!! Here you go again! of course it matters, he's our starter and better then all the other RB's we have. You should really stop watching and move on to another sport. Obviously you've QUIT, thank goodness our team hasn't.

Shannahan at Denver showed that as long as you had a good O line finding a back that can get you 1000 yards a season is not hard and does not need high picks

Abdullah from Nebraska is a true freshmen, and already a stud. If he can stay healthy, we need to get him in 2-3 years for SURE.

Adrian Peterson is about the only first round draft pick I can think of as regards RBs that showed his worth from day one and kept it up.
Least I cannot think of any over the last 10 years or so of which that can be said.

How does being in the hunt equate to winning the SB? Wow!! Nobody said anything about winning the SB but we do have a shot at a playoff spot but the team can't QUIT like you did.

Don't we have two of those in Tanner and Dunbar?

Yeah, i quit because i said it wouldn't matter with Murray in the game.

We can go get AP if we wanted, the O-line will still get you beat up.

They are better when Romo is dropping back firing the ball, well at least he makes them look good at times.
