So what exactly is McShay's fascination with Slyvester Williams? Hes a nice player and everything, but #9 seems a bit ridiculous.

And the more I look at this 1st round the more I don't like it. Just not a whole lot of options in the 11-18 range that we are likely to land.

Trade down to #29 and pick Dallas Thomas and get an extra 2nd round pick.

Look for one of the following to "fall" to the 2nd round:
Anthony Barr
Ezekiel Ansah
Corey Lemonier

or one of the injured players in the 2nd or later:
Tank Carradine
Brandon Jenkins
Quanterus Smith

Use the other 2nd round pick on Khalad Holmes.

I like this idea. We need as many picks as we can get. That is why this years draft was so frustrating. Jerry seems to think we are one player away, and I like Claiborne, but we need help at multiple positions.

If a trade-back would have took place last year, Osemele and Cordy Glenn could have been Cowboys and the oline would be much better. They still would have another pick after taking these two. The Mo trade is not looking too good IMO.

The QBs are dropping like bombs. I expect that will change once they work out. Not that it should change, but it will. They always get overdrafted.

We should have stayed put and took Brockers and Konz. Both lines need help. This year take Mingo and and trade up in the 2nd and take Thomas.

OL - Smith/Livings/Konz/Thomas/Parnell
DL - Crawford/Brockers/Mingo - Lissmore/Brent/Hatcher

We would be a lot further along. But with the worst GM in the history of football, we will always end up with shiny toys vs a quality football team.

You call Jerry Jones the worst GM in the history of football and then suggest playing the 6-5 240 pound Mingo as a DE in a 3-4?
