I don't know why anyone would have an issue with Alabama this year if they beat Georgia who won the SEC East over Florida.

Great post.

Personally, I think either Oregon or Alabama is more worthy of a title shot than UGA and maybe Stanford as well.
This is a big reason why I dislike college football. The media always gives the SEC the benefit of the doubt.

That's because the SEC has won the last seven (?) National Championships.
You earn a good reputation, you ride that reputation.

I'm an SEC fan, but ND matches up well with Bama. Bama is a run-oriented team, and that is ND's strength.
ND's weakness is its secondary. So is Bama's. But Bama isn't much of a passing team. They can get clicking in the passing game, but no one's going to confuse them with USC (with Barkley) or Oregon.
Besides, Bama's starting wide receiver (Bell) went down with a broken ankle. That's going to impact the passing game.
I can see ND winning this game against Bama. This Bama team is not like last year's Bama team.
Having said that, Johnny Football is about the best quarterback Bama has seen. They couldn't handle him until the second half. I doubt ND's quarterback will pose a bigger threat than Johnny Football.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves. It may be Georgia vs. ND. I think Georgia would be the worst matchup for ND because Georgia has a better passing game than Bama.

you never know, Te'o could have another epic 5 tackle game with an INT thrown right to him.

I like the tackle I think he's number 90. I could make tackles playing behind that guy.

The bama propaganda infected you. They are not anywhere near as good as they were last year.
