Like I said earlier this week, never underestimate this teams ability to drop a deuce at midfield when the country is watching.

Yeah, but all joking aside, I think the real reason we've lost all those primetime games is that we're usually playing a good opponent then. That isn't the case this time.
Ivy League

Or even if it's not close, what does it say about our team that basically every fan believes it has the possibility of going either way?

What it says is that most fans have watched enough games to know that Dallas usually losses at home, usually loses primetime games, and usually loses at least once to the Eagles.
As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"
2013 Prediction: "NO PLAYOFFS"

We should win easily, but with Turnover Tony at the helm, anything is possible.

Or that Dallas will field a team with Ernie Simms, Ben Bass, Eric Frampton and Cole Beasley playing heavy snaps. Or that we had to reanimate the corpse of Brady Poppinga.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

I think we find out a whole lot about this team this week. Yes we have injuries, but every team does and I'd argue its a testament about depth or lack of which we should have planned for. E-gals are desperate and we somehow still have a shot at post season. "If" we come out flat and uninspired, that will tell me all I need to know about this team. This is a game we should win, but I'm taking nothing for granted.

The fact the Cowboys are playing a bad opponent that's lost 7 straight games puts added pressure on them to not only win but to look good doing it. A game like this is almost like being in a no win situation unless you win in a blowout. Playing a real bad opponent that's playing for next year puts more pressure on a head coach and their team than if they were playing a real good team.
Excuses can be made if you lose to a hot team that's riding high but man you lose at home AGAIN after what happened on Thanksgiving to a crappy team like Philly whose star players are all out with injuries Jerry is going to be at a loss for words. Both he and Garrett will look like they've been hit by a truck during their post game interviews if the Cowboys lose this game.

Exactly, we need to root for 3 straight 5-11 seasons to make Jerry to realize his failures. Remember the last time we went 3 times 5-11? JJ realized his mistakes and hired BP ? it might take few more completely lost seasons for Jerry to fire Jerry...

Garrett is currently 8-0 when his team has faced another team with a record with -2 wins than his team.
Looking good doing it doesn't give you style points in the NFL, and what would make you believe that this team can even "make it look good"?
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

No running back EVER in the SB era won the rushing title and the SB in the same season.
Until Emmitt Smith did it twice.
Stats are important until they aren't.
You've been weighed
You've been measured
And you've been found to be a casual fan

I disagree, Gaints DL is very very good compared to ours. Their DL can win games by themselves and cover lot of weakness in their backfield. They won 2 SB's with a strong DL and wouldn't be surprised if they do it again...

If they lose than we can talk about meaningless stats I suppose, but 8-0 is still 8-0 until proven otherwise.
