I truly believe it'll be worse under Stephen. Hopefully he'll just give up after some years.

Stephen may be good with numbers but please leave football to football guys.
You're the definition of nepotism but you walk around like you belong, sad.

I've seen no evidence that he's even good with numbers.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

I've heard from countless experts here that he and Garrett are widely respected around the league.

Jethro Bodine mentions they are going to be real tight against the cap in 2013, so I'm not sure "numbers" are a strong suit for him either.

Honestly, I think he is waiting for the chance to make that call on his own, instead of having to twist daddy's arm to do it.
There's always more to the story.

It's all talk, no one will be released. They may restructure contacts, but you cn bet come week 1 of the 2013 season. Doug Free, Miles Austin and Jay Ratliff will in in the starting line-up.

I think Stephen Jones is a little more grounded than Jerry.
Jerry loves each and every player that wears the star.
Stephen?
Not so much.

He's not going to make his dad look bad no matter what. What do you expect from him.
I named my dog "Dallas" because she is soft and timid but I love her anyways.

I can't speak to Garrett's respect around the league, but I think it says alot about Stephen that he's on the NFL's Competition Committee.
I don't think they just put anyone on those committees. JMO, tho.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

That may be true but it takes more than that to be effective at what he does. It'll take more than that to be a successful GM if that's what he's planning to do someday.
Can he evaluate talent? I haven't seen evidence of it.
Can he effectively manage the cap? Not from what I've seen.
People hope Stephen is better but we haven't seen anything since he's been here that he's anything other than Jerry's son.
