NY Giants should realize Robert Griffin III and Washington now their top rival in NFC
NY Giants should realize Robert Griffin III and Washington now their top rival in NFC East, not Philadelphia Eagles or Dallas Cowboys
This rivalry could become something both fun and mean at the same time. Robert Griffin III is 22 years old and not going anywhere soon. Neither is running back Alfred Morris, 23, who already has gained 982 yards with six touchdowns in his rookie season.

I would agree.
NFC East just isn't what it used to be. 'Skins seem to have more hope than the Cowboys, at least their owner stepped aside and hired a GM. Folks will say they gave up a ton for RGIII, but you can't win without a decent QB and so far he looks more than decent.
Meanwhile Romo is one year older and we look worse this year than last.

Both of their rookies are better than our starters. Sigh, I wish we had that talent. The Skins are going to be a threat for years to come, while we will still teeter tot along the line of mediocrity.

Too early. And when their QB gets killed running that college style offense it won't last long.

Trent Dilfer: "Tony [Romo] has greatness in him. I think when you talk to other people that really play the quarterback position, there's a few guys that really have incredible greatness in them, and Tony is one of them. I think the issue here is he needs more help from his teammates. I think they are not nearly as talented as people say they are, from 1 to 53. I'm talking about the total roster.”

So we were down 28-3 at halftime to a "college style offense"?

The NY Giants - A team we were 2" away from sweeping this year?
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

But it's always "wouldna, coulda, shoulda" with the Cowboys and it's been that way for 17 years.
They are not in the same class as the Giants, not even close. Hopefully the 'Skins don't pass us by, but it looks like they have a more rosey future than Jerry's band of idiots.

Can the skins get to 500 at least before we start handing them things.

The repercussions from the Thanksgiving game disaster are still coming. Although I think that RG3 is being prematurely anointed to Mt. Olympus, it nonetheless seems pretty clear that the Cowboys stock is plummeting.

Don't forget they are 18 million under the cap this year. If they can add a few pieces, they might dominate NFC East for the next 10 years.
RG3 is real.
Better than Vick or Cam Newton.
Yankees - NY Giants - Knicks - NY Rangers

We beat them and then lost by a fingertip, but we're not even close.....right.....whatever.
"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo
"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo
But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?
